It does exactly what it was meant for. It lets you make your own cuztom buttons to record different events and you just tap the button to record the timestamp. Then you can choose any event to be 00:00 and see the rest relative to that. Im using it to record timestamps from an action cam when something interesting happened so I dont have to watch the whole video later. Just cut out the good parts when im editing.

I was a longtime user of Emerald Timestamp and was sorry when that company closed and took down their apps. Precise Timestamp seemed to have similar functionality except for including accuracy when sharing the logs. I contacted the author and he added an option for it to this new release. Terrific! I also like the fact that the author makes the source code available on Github, and releases it under an MIT license. When I have more free time (ha!) I might take advantage of that.
