User Reviews

The app is praised for being free to use and for its ability to read different text formats, including scanned text. However, reviews cluster around pricing and premium concerns, with users unhappy about payments or subscriptions. Voice quality is mixed, with some finding it acceptable and others deeming it robotic. A few users note minor reading quirks. Overall, the app shows promise for versatile text-to-speech tasks, but improvements in pricing transparency and voice naturalness would help broaden appeal.
Pros
  • Free to use with unlimited writing and listening (no paywall for core features).
  • Reads scanned text well and supports multiple text sources and file types.
Cons
  • Pricing and premium model cause frustration due to payments and subscriptions.
  • Voice quality is inconsistent or robotic, turning some users off.

It’s Good, But my text has commas where they’re not supposed to be. Good app though.

I love going on bike rides. I also love listening to audiobooks. But my favorite thing is to listen to audiobooks i make for myself. I have tried at least twenty different apps with my needed requirements that it is free to write as much as you want, be able to type your own thing, and listen for free. I have found this in only two other apps, but the robotic voices were so annoying I had to delete it. These are not that robotic, although they are a little annoying and unrealistic. Although if you do chose to purchase it’s only 20 dollars a year
