Krazy Krownz is a Five Crowns-inspired game that’s fun with friends and backed by a responsive developer, yet it suffers from recurring multiplayer issues, intrusive ads, scoring bugs, and UI/UX/stability problems that hinder smooth play. Fixing multiplayer reliability, offering an ad-free option, and tightening scoring and visuals would significantly improve the experience.

Pros

Faithful Five Crowns-style card game that captures the feel of the original.
Fun to play with friends; multiplayer is a big plus when the feature works.
Responsive developer who provides helpful support and updates.
Easy to learn and quick to play, great for short game breaks.

Cons

Multiplayer access is unreliable or locked (cannot invite or join games / buttons are grayed out).
Ads are intrusive; players want an ad-free paid option.
Scoring and hand-detection can be incorrect, leading to unfair results.

Get this… my gf and I are playing this game. I’m obviously trying to win right?!? Tell me why this NPC KEEPS GOING OUT THE FIRST ROUND. This game sucks if you want to win because you’ll only be losing to the computer. If I could give negative stars I would. Part of it is also cause I lost but STILL.

I’m not sure whether it’s this game or Game Center, but the multiplayer function is an absolute nightmare to navigate. Aside from that, I do like the game, and would give it 5 stars if there was a better play with friends function.

Love the developer response, honestly one of the best I’ve seen. One of the first suggestions is being able to play with up to 6 people. The drawback is that there will be more cards on the screen, but for visual purposes we don’t need to see all the cards for 10+ while we’re playing. Once someone goes out and everyone reveals their deck, then all the cards can be shown (in two rows if it looks better this way and is able to fit in the screen). Ideally the cards would be grouped by how the computer automatically groups them, but obviously making sure the players don’t know how the computers groups them until AFTER they turn their cards over. The other suggestion is to just remove the need to add bots for multiplayer and only require at least 2 players (i.e. you and your friend).
