Knights of Pen and Paper 3

Its a nice return to older paper and pen games. It is a bit of money sink if you want progress.

Just as good as the previous 2. The inability to customize your characters appearance/gender presentation in favor of preset professions is both gain and loss. Classes feel just as good as they did before, but the paywall for the new classes feels too steep. Overall great fun, but beware, almost everything has a monetization hook - be it watching ads for blessings, or needing to buy premium currency (diamonds) to upgrade class skills or buildings in your base. I would give this higher than a 3 if this game wasn't so greedy. To get the late game experience you either need to grind ridiculously or pay more than a standard AAA game to get there in under 120 hours. Still, very fun.

My old real complaint is that there is not indication of power or level for mobs. You fight in one area and wipe the mobs, move to another and get slaughtered, see that dungeon that opened for an event, can you do it? Who knows until you’re rezzing your whole party.
