Built on 5+ years of real-world radar data, it delivers advanced false-alert filtering, detector optimizations, and a simple, set-it-and-forget-it experience. Key features include GPS-based SpotLocks for location-aware muting, intelligent voice announcements, a customizable Heads-Up Display (HUD), and full detector control from the app. It supports muting across Ka, K, and X bands, proximity and bogey meters, custom alert phrases, Urgency Alerts, alert history, speed readouts, and cross-device notifications. At every opportunity, I recommend this app to anyone that can benefit from it. It has been a miracle on my somewhat noisy R8W and has made the auto-lockout function much better. It would be foolish not to have this, and add R/Tach app while you are at it, and you will have the perfect setup. As a bonus, and I just saw this today, apparently CarPlay was added. Thank you for all tour hard work, and smart work, in getting this created and continually making it even better through updates. I never drive without my radar detector, and I never drive without R8 Companion.
