Beatbot

I am 75 years old and had no issue setting my Beatbot up. I find it much lighter than my Polaris 9300 Sport, which I have had for 15 years. I am happy with my New Best Friend (Orange Betsy Sora-30 Beatbot). I truly am waiting for the micron filter to be available to use especially during this spring season. So far… Loving her.

After two years of ownership, I replaced my Betta SE Plus with the iSkim Ultra. One of the reasons for the replacement was a persistent flashing light issue. One of the LED lights had burned out and could not be replaced, prompting the company to send me a new replacement. Despite the absence of sunlight, the Betta SE Plus performed admirably, demonstrating impressive long run times. This was due to the absence of multiple motors, WiFi compatibility, and numerous ultra-sonar sensors. The only concern I had with the Betta SE Plus was its random cleaning system. While it comes with a remote control system, it operates on RF active technology, which is not particularly useful. In contrast, the Betta Robot Skims the surface effectively but occasionally fails to capture some floating debris. The ISkim Ultra, equipped with numerous sonar ultrasonic sensors, continuously scans the surface for floating debris and collects the debris that was missed by the Betta SE Plus. While the ISkim Ultra is highly technologically advanced, evidenced by its substantial price tag, its smart surface scanning technology, specifically the S Type Route Plotting, justifies the additional cost. The price of the ISkim Ultra has fluctuated from a high of $1,300.00 to a low of $599.99. Considering its numerous motors, sensors, WiFi capabilities, and other features, it is essential to determine the longevity of this expensive machine. The manufacturer offers a two-year comprehensive replacement warranty for the unit. Furthermore, the ISkim Ultra appears to be well-constructed and exceptionally heavy compared to the Betta SE Plus version. Time will reveal whether the ISkim Ultra can provide many years of reliable service without experiencing mechanical or electronic failures.
