Compass Maps - Digital Compass is a Chrome extension that adds a real-time directional compass to maps. It uses GPS to auto-update direction, lets you move on the map, and shows your current location with satellite, hybrid, and terrain views. It also supports real-time traffic mapping, address display, and quick sharing of your location via social networks, email, SMS, or any app you choose.

It also functions as a land-area measurement tool with a built-in unit converter for square meters, square kilometers, square feet, and hectares. Measure areas by placing pivots on the map, calculate radii and corners, and view latitude/longitude, true north, and magnetic field considerations.
