2026-03-24	m4*****	UPDATE: I came back to this app after a couple years to find its few shortcomings had been fixed. Yay! Definitely five stars now, and an indispensable resource for Russian learners. *** This app covers both nouns and adjectives, singular and plural. That is is so unusual among Russian language learning apps, and has proven invaluable in my study of Russian. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t work perfectly on my iPhone 13 Mini—sometimes the bottommost answer is cut off, making it impossible to select. Despite that, it’s still terrific, and I can push past my occasional annoyance.

2025-08-01	er*****	Not sure what level of learner this is meant to be for, but I’m A2 and the questions and examples all use unnecessarily difficult words- which makes focusing on the grammar very difficult. For example, the app uses words like ‘results’, ‘nightingdale’, and ‘creek.’ Why not use simpler words, like ‘answers’, ‘bird’, and ‘river’?? Before every exercise, you get a huge wall of text ‘explaining’ the grammar- it’s just way too much information. And the information isn’t very helpful when it comes to the actual exercises- especially since I don’t know all of the words. Also, the app doesn’t give the correct answer if you get a question wrong and you only have 3 lives per round (I paid for the app, why do I only get three lives???). Let me see the mistake in time. This app is not designed well and clearly not made by real language teachers. Don’t waste your money.

The quizzes are short (10 or so questions) and broken down by sections on the masculine, feminine, neuter, and plural forms. Each section can be done multiple times with different questions each time. For $2.99 this is an absolute hidden gem!

2023-08-08	Dd*****	I was surprised how well made this app is. It's definitely worth the couple of bucks to downlod it. Super easy to use and it makes perfect sense. Seems like it would be a good app to go with something like Duolingo. Cases in Russian can be frustrating, and most language apps don't press the importance of cases; they just show them to you and hopefully you pick up on it. This app has an intelligent design around cases. Pretty cool!
