User Reviews

Users largely praise the MyWWP app for helping Veterans find and register for local events and stay connected to the community, and for offering quicker access to WWP programs and resources. However, many reviews cite persistent problems with sign-in and loading, frequent crashes and bugs, and incomplete event data within the app. While the concept and local-event focus are valued, reliability issues hinder regular use for a notable portion of users. Ongoing fixes, improved stability, and fuller event listings would improve the overall experience.

Pros

Eases connecting with other Veterans and staying connected to the WWP community.
Makes it easy to find local WWP events and register for them.
Provides quick access to WWP programs, resources, and classes.
Better than the website for viewing events in my area.
Supports finding major events and virtual trainings (e.g., Odyssey and Soldier Ride).

Cons

Frequent sign-in / login issues and loading screen problems.
Frequent crashes and bugs; app feels unstable.
Not all events or programs show up in the app; data visibility is incomplete.
Lag, unexpected sign-outs, and inconsistent performance (e.g., spinning wheel, white screen).

Recent reviews

WWP is only interested in “warriors” that fit their model. Meaning, white males with “the right” injuries. All of their events are geared around this. There is no support for BIPOC or women, no specific programming (well they have things online! Never in person). If you do go to events, it’s a sausage fest. You get the whole gamut, from “as a chick you don’t deserve this as much as me” (I’m a combat vet) to “who’s your spouse/the REAL vet”, to hitting on me enough I’m not going back. I’ve been to WWP events in three states!!!!! Over ten years I’ve tried!!!!! This is UNIVERSALLY TRUE, and the organization does not care to change. Do not go, do not give them your money, unless you’re a white dude. 🤷‍♀️🤢
