Has a Great Product Become a SCAM? On August 8, 2025, I purchased a HOOBS Pro hub, a quite wonderful smart home device, to help me better connect several smart home products. When I made the order, I was told order fulfillment could take a few months. Not what I wished for, but I understood. After FOUR months of waiting patiently, I contacted them multiple times through their support page and by email to find out when the HOOBS Pro hub would arrive. (There is no phone number, of course.) I received a variety of canned responses and was told that fulfillment could take a few months. I try to be a patient person and not complain. After FEW MORE months, I again contacted them several times and received canned responses, but I was sufficiently persistent that I actually got a human response with apologies. I was told I would certainly receive the HOOBS Pro hub. I was still being patient but not as hopeful. After a FEW MORE months, I again contacted them. Repeatedly! It has been well OVER A YEAR since they took my $399.99. I set a deadline. No luck. More canned responses and then an admonishment that they already had a case open and that I had somehow contacted them incorrectly! Now, after TWO MORE fruitless weeks, I am regretfully writing this complaint. I would like the product delivered or a refund, immediately.

Avoid this company! I like many people have been ripped off by pre-ordering the HOOBS pro, only to go several years without receiving the device. When I asked for a rebate, they keep putting me off and never give back the refund. I would give them no stars if I could.
