User Reviews

Players largely welcome NinJump Master as a nostalgic revival that captures the classic feel and music, and many find it enjoyable. However, the experience is overshadowed by intrusive ads, UI ad-block issues, missing content from the original, and some performance/ads-bug problems. Fans want fewer ads and a fuller restoration of the original levels and bosses.
Pros
  • Strong nostalgia and emotional connection to the original NinJump.
  • Faithful recreation of the classic gameplay and vibe.
  • Enjoyable and nostalgic experience; praised as one of the better NinJump iterations by longtime players.
  • Revival is welcomed; players are glad NinJump is back on the App Store.
Cons
  • Excessive ads disrupt gameplay and are heavily criticized.
  • Ads block core UI (e.g., start button) and hinder game startup.
  • Missing content and levels from the original (no pirate/jungle/castle themes, fewer bosses).
  • Performance issues and controls feel less responsive (lag, frame rate).
  • Ads-related bugs/crashes (ad videos not working, rewards issues).

This app has too many ads. Even when you pay for no ads, all you get is ads.

It’s just not the same. And it’s sad to see my childhood like this. Don’t get me wrong, I was 8-9 when I played “NinJump Deluxe” and I loved it. I have such fond memories with using my grandmas phone and playing for hours whenever I visited while hanging out with her. I’m 18 now. And I know ads are the biggest factor of revenue. I know this. But it’s not that. It’s the fact that this game is just a husk of what it was. Where’s the pirate, medieval and jungle theme? The other enemies and Dragon and Octopus bosses? Why is there AI art as profile pictures. What happened to the Ninja’s sound effects, the nostalgic and amazing music, cool backgrounds and loading screens? Did the previous company, Skybound Games I think it was give up? I want to give this game a 1. But I’m not out of lonely nostalgia for the game it once was. There is nothing unique, only downgrades and lack of content. Search NinJump on YouTube and we can find the game it once was; this is just a reminder that life moves fast. The games you love are gone. You grow up and one day you remember spending time with your grandma and playing a nostalgic mobile game, and when you revisit after trying to remember the name after so long you see its ads and ai slop. Idk man, like I said it’s not even the ads it’s just the fact whatever happened just stripped this game from everything it once had.

Great game, exactly like the classic. Ads can be a little much but still worth the nostalgia
