Pros
- Deep tactical depth with chess-like, grid-based combat requiring careful positioning and timing.
- Huge variety of unique heroes/units with distinct abilities and playstyles, contributing to balance.
- Free-to-play friendly with early units viable and a not-pay-to-win monetization feel.
- Active, responsive developers and a vocal community with regular updates and refinements.
- Accessible yet challenging gameplay that blends puzzle-solving with strategic planning.
Cons
- Perceived bot-like matchmaking and concerns that some matches may not be against real players.
- Technical issues and bugs, including loading problems, update-induced errors, and auto-end-turn glitches.
- Onboarding can be confusing, with unclear rules and slow tutorials.
- Progression feels grindy, with slow card unlocks and potential pay-to-win pressures.

Tons of depth here! Really fun to figure out how to play characters strengths and weaknesses off each other.
I don’t know if there is anything else quite like it!

I’ve played this game for a few hours, and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s rare to find a mobile game that doesn’t feel like a soulless cash grab. I’ve never written a review for an app before, but I felt this game deserved some credit.
I really like the art style, and the gameplay is fun with a surprising amount of depth and strategy. It’s like a mix between a board game like chess and a TCG like MTG.
There are microtransactions if you want to speed up your hero collection, but so far they haven’t felt necessary to the core gameplay. There are also ads in the store page that let you earn extra rewards, but they’re completely optional and do not disrupt gameplay.
If you’re into TCGs or chess, I think you should definitely give this game a shot.
