Wargames Dice Roller

Wargames Dice Roller is a support app to perform dice rolls in board games and, more specifically, wargames.

Although nothing can replace the pleasure of taking an insanely large amount of dices and roll them in the table to count the result, sometimes it might get tricky to roll that many dices without them stomping on our beloved models. We might also lack the amount of dices required for the roll, or we are just lazy at that moment and don't want to do it manually.

Whichever the case, this app enables us to perform the roll and apply any modifier, such as adding or discarding dices, reroll some of the dices or replace dice results. All of it with an easy to read and simple user interface that details the whole rolling process thoroughly. Furthermore, the final result of the roll will be presented in a meaningful manner depending on the type of roll we perform.

Features

• Perform a single roll with one or more dices (with the same faces).
• Perform a series of rolls with the outcome of each roll affecting the next.
• Compute different outcomes from the roll.
• Add steps that modify the roll result after the initial roll.
• Auto-save rolls, either to consult them or reroll them in the future with the exact same parameters.
• Define a default roll to prefill the parameters in the roll. The parameters can always be altered before performing the roll.

Characteristics within a roll:

• Supported dice faces: D2, D3, D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20.
• Results types: none (just roll), concatenate dice digits, sum dice values, split successes and failures according to a threshold.
• Roll modifier types: add dices, discard dices, reroll dices and replace dice values. Up to 5 per roll.
• Dice limit per roll: 100 (not including dices that can be added as modifiers).
