I purchased Threadalog for the ability to track my floss and I love it for that, but after a few weeks I decided to move my PDF patterns and those I took pictures of from my paper patterns and decided to catalog them. What turned from simple organization has become my new cross stitch best friend. I now use this app for marking off my patterns. I was previously using Markup-RXP but it was too much of a POA when I wanted to upload an image of a pattern. Now all I do is take the image turn it into a pdf and Viola! I can use that to mark off. If I’m feeling especially lazy I can just upload the picture and mark that off. I also love the fact I can back up to the cloud and use this app on my phone and iPad. It’s totally worth the $14.99 annually.

This app needs a few things. I like the fact that you can add Threads to a shopping list, but I don’t like the fact that once you buy that thread and you click it and mark it as purchased, it doesn’t add it to your inventory. You have to manually add the thread to your inventory even after you’ve marked it purchased from your shopping list and I think that is an extra step that’s unnecessary.
