It shut off the first time after I left it on during a shower during the next day in over 90 degree temperature. The second time when I couldn’t get the app to update and I reset the watch. It wouldn’t restart and connect with app on my iPhone 14 that was up to date! I have had only one e-mail that said I would get help. I sent the help request last Saturday and haven’t heard anything yet about help. When it works it is great and I still haven’t had any luck getting it reconnected again.

Update the app for crying out loud!!!

My wife recently got me this as an anniversary present, I had been looking to get a smartwatch but preferred something minimalistic. From most of the reviews I had seen I expected to get a quality watch for 1/4 of the price of mainstream watches. However after receiving the product I wish I had read more of the reviews. I have no problems with the app as it seems to operate as it should, however the watch, X-Ranger, has shown me that there is a reason the big names sell more of their product than others. I have sent an email to their “help” email, which by the way states “Even if we have a higher demand than usual, we will try to get back to you as soon as possible!” It has been 4 business days so far and I have yet to hear anything back from them. Considering email is the only way to contact them I am beginning to wonder if this company hand selects their “ambassadors” to receive their quality and perfectly operating devices, while others are left with, TRASH! I have dealt with other companies who solely communicate via email, and I have always gotten a reply within a few hours, a day later worst case. The big name companies have online support or at least a number to call. At this point I don’t even care about having the watch just due to the customer service, I just want my wife to get the money she wasted on this. If you wanna spend a $150 on a watch that tells time and lets you read messages then this is what you want. Just don’t have high expectations. I would love nothing more than to give this 0 stars but unfortunately that’s not an option.
