Watch out for this gym’s predatory billing practices. I paid for a one month membership in cash because I’ve been overcharged by gyms in the past. After the month, I received an email saying that they were unable to bill me for my second month (which I never signed up for) and that if I don’t pay, they’ll send my info to collections. They claim that I signed an agreement for auto-renew, and attached a contract that is NOT my signature. I have NEVER seen that contract, and I would not have signed it because it clearly states the terms regarding auto-renew when I made it clear I wanted to try it for ONE month. When I pointed out it’s not my signature and asked for the copy I supposedly signed, they were unable to provide it… because it doesn’t exist. This is FRAUD and I’ve filed a complaint to the BBB.
