Very high and inconsistent cost to unlock/read chapters; total cost can reach hundreds of dollars and prices change unpredictably.
Coin and bonus system is confusing, unreliable, and often unhelpful; bonuses don't convert properly, coins disappear, and ad rewards don't reliably unlock chapters.
App usability issues hinder reading (cannot easily go back, progress not saved, chapters lock unexpectedly, payments repeated).
Billing and account problems (duplicate charges, refunds issues, poor support) and frequent payment disputes.
Ad-based unlocking is intrusive and ineffective for many users.

Recent reviews

They charge a ridiculous amount for chapters. If you were to read an entire book it would cost you $100. And the watching 3 adds/videos to unlock each chapter only works for a few times then you pay or can’t continue reading. Lots of typos in the “books”. Don’t waste your time or money! I’d give zeros stars but not an option. No way is this app over 4 stars.

…unless you want to pay $$$ to finish a book. No visible way to turn rewards for watching adds to coins to open chapters. Authors.. try another format if you want readers to actually read your entire book

The story is good, but you have to buy coins to unlock the chapter. I’ve already spent $15 and I’m not finished with the one story. It should be a flat fee per month or at least per story. Definitely not worth it.
