User Reviews

The Actually Healthy app is praised for its women-focused nutrition features, cycle-aware guidance, easy recipes with clear nutrition details, and convenient Instacart grocery integration. The main drawback across reviews is the upfront paywall with no trial, which can deter potential users. Overall, it’s seen as a well-organized, beginner-friendly hub for women’s health, with standout capabilities in AI cycle syncing and grocery-list automation.
Pros
  • AI cycle syncing feature tailored to women's cycle with nutrition recommendations
  • Instacart integration for online grocery shopping and automatic grocery lists
  • Woman-focused design and content (made for women by women)
  • Easy-to-use, intuitive interface with clear recipe steps and nutrition info
  • Comprehensive library of healthy recipes with dietary options (gluten- and dairy-free) and visuals
Cons
  • Paywall upfront with no free trial to test features
  • Some advanced features (e.g., AI cycle syncing) appear gated behind a Pro upgrade, limiting access for non-premium users

I like to think this is something I am happy to pay for, but I downloaded the app and before given a chance to see the features, etc, you’re asked to pay to sign up. There’s no option for a trial or anything to give you sense if this is something you will truly use. So I just deleted it.

I ask for a meal with certain calories and protein and it returns something which is very much wrong. Well my butler does not know math.!

I have thoroughly enjoyed using this app. Not only has it made eating healthy easy but it’s also been so much fun to put the recipes together! I also really appreciate all of the new features that are constant coming.
