This trolling motor is so cool. It's not perfect but I love the premise and hope it continues to improve! Probably my biggest gripe is sometimes it's hard for the trolling motor to get synced to the app. Many times I power on the trolling motor with the app open and I just get the beeping sound from the trolling motor. Apparently the app finds the trolling motor because it registers a voltage but I am unable to control the motor. I usually cycle through powering the motor on and off from the head of the motor, it takes a couple of times, but eventually it calibrates. The other thing I would also like to suggest for a huge win would be a battery % indicator in addition or in substitution of the voltage meter. I realise there would be different calculations on lead acid vs. LiFePO4 etc. but this would be an awesome feature. Thank you!

So many features packed into this intuitive easy to use app. The app allows me to tweak motor settings, plot routes to follow, and organize saved fishing spots! Amazing that this app is free. 100% free and no paid features. You get full access for free. Other brand motor companies would charge you for many of the features that AutoBoat gives away for free.
