User Reviews

Bird Kind is praised for its relaxing, cozy vibe, charming animations, and a wide range of real bird species that feel educational and calming. Players also like the ad-free gameplay and the overall art and sound. However, multiple reviews highlight serious drawbacks: event mechanics feel unfair or pay-to-win, with RNG making it hard to obtain specific birds; frequent bugs and occasional data loss disrupt play; progression is grindy, with limited ways to earn currency and few new activities. UI annoyances and long expansion times also pop up. Overall, strong ambiance and collection, but reliability and monetization concerns hurt longevity.
Pros
  • Relaxing, cozy gameplay with cute bird animations and calming music; great for reducing anxiety
  • Wide variety of real bird species; educational and engaging to learn about birds
  • Ad-free by default with optional rewarded ads; no forced ads
  • Helpful customer support/data recovery capability (responsive support)
Cons
  • Event mechanics feel rigged and pay-to-win; RNG makes obtaining specific birds frustrating; some events misleading or unfair
  • Frequent bugs and server issues; data loss or progress resets disrupt play
  • Grind-heavy progression with limited ways to earn currency and few new activities; expansion times are long
  • UI annoyances and slow pacing (zoom required to view board and repetitive tapping to collect coins)

I’ve been a longtime player of this game. Adding Tasha was a mistake. It is impossible to get both birds with Tashi. This event does not have accurate percentages for the chance of popping the bubbles. It will go two days or more, of a limited six day event, not offering the specific colors that you need, so you don’t advance at all (and paying to clear a task is broken and does not clear the task). And, even if you choose to purchase bubbles and slingshots to try to get the birds, these patterns of rigged gameplay continue and it’s impossible to get to the second bird and even more than two copies of the first bird. I have waited months for some of these advertised birds to come available in an event, and now they’re not possible to get. That’s false advertising, and you’re gonna lose customers if you keep these Tashi events going. Go back to the seed events only because they were balanced, fair, and it was clear how to advance to get what you might want as a player.

The dream event is a rip off and gets you less then sprout events, sometimes you can't even pop any bubbles and get nothing out of those two hours. I would love if it was only the sprout events.
