User Reviews

Users praise the app’s basic ability to control and monitor devices when a stable Bluetooth connection exists, but report widespread reliability and privacy concerns. The most recurring issues are frequent login prompts and terms, unstable connectivity requiring rebinds, and strong privacy worries about data collection and sharing. Usability problems (readability, password setup) and weak multi-device management (sorting, solar vs grid differentiation, lack of history) are also frequently mentioned. Overall, functionality exists but reliability, privacy, and UX need addressing.
Pros
  • Remote control and monitoring via the app.
  • Core features work as expected when a Bluetooth connection is established and you are nearby the device.
  • The app provides essential control interfaces for power management when it is functioning correctly.
Cons
  • Frequent login/logouts and mandatory account creation; repeated terms/agreements.
  • Unreliable connectivity between the app and devices (Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi), with disconnects and need to rebind, often after outages.
  • Significant privacy and data collection concerns (location data, data sharing with third parties, potential data transmission to China).
  • Usability and accessibility issues (very small/faint text, password creation feedback lacking, confusing password rules).
  • Poor multi-device management (no easy way to sort multiple Jackery units; unclear differentiation between solar vs grid input; lack of historical data and threshold controls).

I’ve had no issues with the app not working or anything. It has the basics and it does the job well. However, I just got an Ecoflow, and their app has way more customization. I’d like to be able to keep AC power always on, but only have the battery charge and discharge to safe levels. The battery save mode keeps killing my AC outlets because my mini fridge doesn’t draw enough power often enough, even though I have it set to 12 hours. The ecoflow lets me choose exactly what percentage range of charging and discharging, and doesn’t kill my AC with those settings adjusted.
