bob World Digital Rupee

bob World Digital Rupee (e₹) is India's RBI-issued digital form of legal tender. The e₹ is issued as digital currency and transactions are carried out via a Bank of Baroda digital wallet, available to invited users. The wallet is designed to function like a digital version of a physical wallet on your device.

This extension provides information about the RBI-backed pilot, RBI’s vision for a digitally powered economy, and how e₹ transactions are intended to work within the Bank of Baroda app. Note that access to the pilot is invitation-only.
