2026-02-01	Sn*****	I got my device from a local Homegoods, I struggled to figure out how to connect my Apple calendar to the device but luckily figured it out same day. Now, I can’t seem to delete some of the calendars that I shared to the device or add anymore. I have 6 connected to it. I have 8+ calendars I wanted to add to it but that’s just not possible I guess. I wish they would work on that part of the app so I can keep the device for the calendar part and not just the photo frame.
I got my device from a local Homegoods, I struggled to figure out how to connect my Apple calendar to the device but luckily figured it out same day. I wish they would work on that part of the app so I can keep the device for the calendar part and not just the photo frame.
2025-12-27	Wr*****	I decided to take a risk and buy a digital calendar for my local Homegoods (Wimsie Digital Calendar) and it turned out to be a mistake. Although I have no issue with the frame quality itself, the app is an absolute nightmare and is practically unusable. Although I give points for it being very well put together appearance wise functionality is nonexistent. The app refuses to properly sync with my Google calendar, only syncing repeating events while creating duplicates of those events the day before for no reason. And when I go and try to enter in my calendar manually through the app, it completely fails. Whenever I create an event though the app say my work shift from 2 PM to 10 PM it will for some reason override my settings and make it go from 12 PM to 11:55 PM and then create a new event of the same name on the next day from 5 PM to 12 PM. It only works when I manually create the event on the calendar itself, and when I do, the app refuses to acknowledge that the event exist saying that there have been no events created. Plus, as an added annoyance there is “ premium subscription” that to be fair is not required, but is recommended due to the fact that the frame will artificially limit you to how many pictures you can upload to the frame itself. 1/5 do not recommend any digital devices that requires this app to function.
