User Reviews

Overall, many users praise FutureMoney for kid-focused investing via the Junior Roth IRA, easy onboarding, and supportive guidance, with family-friendly flexibility and tax-aware growth. However, recurring concerns across reviews include trust issues and scam allegations, opaque pricing, difficulty editing account details, withdrawal/bonus payout delays, and a somewhat clunky UI. The app shows strong potential for parents and grandparents to save for children, but reliability and transparency improvements are needed to convert hesitation into confidence.
Pros
  • Easy onboarding and intuitive UI for setting up child-focused accounts (including the Junior Roth IRA).
  • Responsive, knowledgeable customer support and portfolio guidance from staff.
  • Child-focused tax-advantaged accounts with long-term growth potential.
  • Flexible contribution options for family members (parents and grandparents).
Cons
  • Trust concerns and fraud allegations appear in multiple reviews, affecting perceived reliability.
  • Pricing transparency is lacking, with mentions of undisclosed monthly subscription fees.
  • Account management friction: difficulty editing bank/account details and needing to contact support.
  • Withdrawal/bonus payout issues: delays and reports of funds not being returned.
  • Clunky UI and missing advertised features (e.g., easy contributor options) compared to expectations.]

Reading other reviews, I see mostly 5 stars, but that could be from the developers doing so themselves. The bad reviews say this is a scam, and I am not going to risk it. And seeing as it has few reviews, I think they might be right.

I’ve been attempting for months to inquire when the referral bonus will be paid out, I mean a good 4-6 months. And all they tell me are excuses. I have money invested and have tried to withdrawal it and they are not giving it back. Do not trust this app. I will be reaching out to higher authorities at this point. Save yourself from the hassle people.
