Trekking Carpathians is made by people who walk these mountains themselves. It has been growing since 2019 together with the community at vpohid.com.ua, who add the places, the photographs and the corrections.

IT WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL There is no dependable mobile coverage on a Carpathian ridge, and the app is built for that. Download the map for the area before you leave and the tiles, the routes, the descriptions and the photographs are all on the phone. The navigator needs no connection at all.

HUNDREDS OF READY ROUTES Day walks above Yaremche, the climb to Hoverla, the full Chornohora traverse, Svydovets, Gorgany, Marmarosy, Borzhava. Each route carries its track, its length, its walking time, a difficulty level, the places it crosses and photographs taken along it. Filter by region, by category or by what is nearest to you.

A MAP THAT KNOWS THE MOUNTAINS A topographic map with the trails, marked with what actually matters to a walker: summits, waterfalls, lakes, springs, shelters, chapels, ruins, viewpoints, sheepfolds. Thousands of them, added by walkers over years. Tap one to read what is there and see what other people photographed.

FOLLOW A ROUTE AS YOU WALK IT Start a route and the app shows how much is behind you, how much is left, the forecast on the ridge and a warning when you drift off the line. Finish it and it goes into your history.

YOUR TOURIST PASSPORT A hiking history that belongs to you: every route walked and every place reached, with the date, your own notes and the summits you ticked off along the way. Keep it private or publish it, and read other walkers' passports.
