User Reviews

Hoarding and Cleaning combines a fun, satisfying hoard-and-clean concept with good visuals. However, most reviews focus on a noisy monetization model: ads are excessive and intrusive, with uncertain or faulty ad-free options. Players also report no offline mode, an impractically low carrying capacity that hinders progress, and occasional bugs that freeze gameplay or block progression. To improve, developers should trim ad frequency, ensure a reliable ad-free path, add offline play, expand mechanics, and fix bugs.
Pros
  • Fun to play and engaging core gameplay
  • Good graphics
  • Satisfying hoarding/cleaning mechanic
Cons
  • Ads are pervasive and intrusive, interrupting gameplay frequently
  • Monetization friction: ad-free option exists but is unreliable/not clearly priced
  • No offline/airplane mode to avoid ads
  • Carrying capacity is too low and gameplay lacks depth/replayability
  • Bugs and glitches (freezes, restore issues) affect progression

For some reason, there’s like 10% of the “trash” that’s just out of reach, no matter what I do. Ice extended the reach as far as I can, which helped some, but it expects me to pay money to get more just so I can get the last few pieces of stuff & move on to the second level. Like, I don’t even know if I like it yet! If this is a big, please fix!

I timed it because it felt excessive. Every minute and a half there is a 20 second ad that you have to press the close button four different times. Then once back in the game it offers to sell you an ad free experience then gives you one more ad when you decline before you can go back and play for another minute and a half. There is no way to play on airplane mode. This game could be fun if we could play for more than 90 seconds at a time.
