User Reviews

Most reviews focus on a frustrating paywall-first experience: users must subscribe to use the app, with nagging, hard-to-dismiss prompts that block basic coding tasks. Free access is largely absent, and trials are perceived as risky. A smaller set of reviews praise the coding capabilities, clean visuals, and AI guidance when not blocked by monetization.
Pros
  • Capable coding environment on iPad for learning and practicing code.
  • Visually appealing design with a polished look.
  • AI-powered guidance provides clear instructions and ideas.
Cons
  • Heavy paywall and subscription requirements block basic use and code execution.
  • Subscription prompts and purchase windows cannot be dismissed, disrupting the experience (no X).
  • No viable free version or one-time purchase option; heavy emphasis on ongoing subscriptions.
  • Frequent upsell notifications interrupt usage and feel spammy.
  • Some users report the app becoming unusable or bricked due to upgrade prompts.

This app used to be usable. But now they hide the x whenever a subscription prompt shows up so it feels like you have to.. also not to mention YOU CANT EVEN RUN YOUR CODE ANYMORE. It will tell you to BUY THE SUBSCRIPTION just to RUN CODE

The design makes apps that preview code like GitHub more useful in concept to access areas that I need to survey. It is also a Premium app for coding which is a cost measure to employ in budgeting for company and contracting use.
