Introducing Patientcentre: Your Hospital Health Management App

Patientcentre is a smart, simple and secure app that helps you take an active role in your own hospital healthcare.

Easy and Secure Access

We use the trusted safety of NHS login to confirm your identity. Once set up, you can log in quickly using your phone's built-in security features (like Face ID or fingerprint recognition) or a simple PIN. You'll only need to use NHS login again occasionally for extra security.

Your Complete View of Care

The app’s main screen gives you a clear overview of all your care, whether you're an outpatient, an inpatient, or on a virtual ward. You'll see a summary of your upcoming activities including outpatient appointments, waiting list information and surgery dates.

All Your Current Care Details in One Place

When you look at a specific episode of care, you can view a timeline of everything that has happened through the messages view, including hospital letters and messages.

Integrating Health into Daily Life

You can easily add your appointments from Patientcentre straight into your phone's calendar, and even set up customised reminders that work for you. From Patientcentre, you can launch Apple Maps to show you the way to the hospital.

Designed for Accessibility

Patientcentre is designed to be easy for everyone to use. It works with your phone's existing accessibility controls and supports features like using larger font sizes or exporting PDFs for translation. You can also use your phone's speech-to-text voice functions instead of typing. To make things clearer, you can even rename your care episodes to something that makes more sense to you.

Secure Proxy Access for Trusted Others

If you need help managing your care, you can set up a family member, Power of Attorney, or another trusted person as a secure proxy. For security, both you and your proxy must have the app and an NHS login. You create a unique QR code in your app, which your proxy scans to securely link them to your record. They can then view your care information and act on your behalf.

Your Care Team Keeps You Informed

Because Patientcentre works directly with the hospital's computer system, it's easy for your care team to share information with you. Plus, you'll get a notification on your phone as soon as new information, such as a new digital letter, is available in Patientcentre.

Secure Hospital Messages

Patientcentre has a secure messaging system that lets your care team communicate with you by sending advice, guidance, and notifications.
