Players widely praise Vampire Survivors on iOS for its huge content, addictive arcade-style gameplay, offline play, and cross-platform progression. Many enjoy the free-to-play mobile experience and the DLC expansions. However, reviewers repeatedly complain about unstable saves and progress loss, intrusive ads and revival prompts, frequent crashes and performance issues, inconsistent DLC purchases across platforms, and occasional control bugs or level-load problems that hamper mobile play.

Poor save/resume system: progress can be lost when closing the app or switching away.

Some level load or input issues (certain levels fail to load, controls can feel non-responsive).

For about 1-2 years of having this game this was some of the coolest games I’ve ever played in mobile. Keep up the good work! Edit from 2026; not sure what people are yapping about crashing it works completely fine for me and DO NOT SAY THIS IS A RIPOFF OF SURVIVOR.IO, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL!!!
