mnemonics in virtual space
This app is not a game.
This app is a learning support tool for practicing the method of loci, also known as the memory palace technique, using a virtual space and images.
In many mnemonic techniques, information is linked to places and images to create cues that help you recall what you want to remember.
With this app, you can enter keywords and image references in an Excel file and display them inside a virtual space.
This helps you practice connecting places with images, a technique also used by experienced memory athletes.
By placing information as images, you can review it using location and order as recall cues.
Even if you forget something, looking back at the placed images can help you recall it again.
Depending on your training, this app can be used to practice memorizing various kinds of information, such as the order of a deck of playing cards, numbers, texts, prefectures, historical names, or the arrangement of an 8×8 board with black and white pieces.
