Despite loads of support tickets reporting this app no longer works, the developer keeps saying an update is “coming soon” and to just “use the browser” The browser doesn’t enable one of the main use cases for the 4 Pro - radio-free digital modes. You need the app for that. And this app just flat doesn’t work and hasn’t for years.

Works but terrible user interface

I made the mistake of not checking out this app before purchasing an Openspot 4 Pro. Since the app hasn't been updated in a year or so, it's probably safe to say that things are not being maintained. Although a few of the controls are able to be surfaced and activated with VoiceOver recognition enabled, the app tends to freeze up which also results in VO hanging or becoming super slow to respond. All in all, this app version is currently unusable by hams relying on accessibility functionality.
