User Reviews

Element Note is widely praised for its superb handwriting experience, clean design, and deep customization, plus a one-time lifetime license. Users also value its ability to sync notes across devices. However, recurring issues temper enthusiasm: inconsistent cross-device syncing (deletions not syncing), a paid-tier gate with a three-note limit, stability problems and crashes, bugs and slow updates, and handwriting recognition quality that can lag or overly affect search results.
Pros
  • Excellent handwriting experience with a natural feel and solid pen/stabilization.
  • Beautiful, simple, and well-designed UI.
  • High customization options for papers, tools, and even the app icon.
  • Cross-device syncing makes notes accessible from anywhere.
  • Lifetime license offers great value.
Cons
  • Sync issues across devices (deletions not syncing; major inconsistencies).
  • Free tier limits: only three notes before paying.
  • Bugs and slow or infrequent updates.
  • Handwriting recognition quality could be better (inconsistent accuracy).
  • Stability issues and crashes (app closes during use; Mac app crashes with PDFs).

Es una aplicación que puedes utilizarla para cualquier propósito. Muy fácil de utilizar. Me gustaría que le añadieran mas opciones de stickers, tablas, y colores. Tiene potencial para ser mejor que Goodnotes.

This is my writing app of choice on my iPad mainly because it has the stabilization I need for my awful handwriting. That being said it leaves a little to be desired. For starters some of my bookmarks just disappear, the shape recognition is not great (half the time I want a straight line I’ll get a square or circle), and the using the lasso tool when selecting something small is an awful experience. Half the time I want to move a small selected area, it’ll resize or rotate. Finally, I write in dark mode but can only export in light mode? Seriously?
