The Chinese Bible as the name suggests is the Chinese version of the holy bible. This version has been a joint effort of nearly 100 Chinese scholars, language experts, religious scholars, and other prominent scholars. The project was initially proposed in 1972 and 20 years later by 1992, it was completed. The Chinese Bible is derived from Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic text. This translation is the most famous version of the bible read in china today. Multiple revisions were made to this version after completion, each one administered by scholars and expert linguists. The entire project was run under Chinese church leaders.
