Send2Corrections is a Western Union app that lets you fund transfers to inmates. Create a free account, then choose Pay Inmate to send funds securely using credit or debit cards. The service covers federal and state prisons as well as county jails.

I’ve been bummed because the transfers don’t always work right when you need them too, … the app spins and says “transfer not available at this time” and I’ve had my card information taken twice when I have allotted only one credit card to use for this site for that reason…

I love that this app makes it practical and easy to send money to a loved one. Everything else is already difficult so when you have an app that is lets you send money within minutes is great! Thank you for making this process easy!

This app is the easiest way to send money to loved ones in the FBOP, but the high $8.95 fee is crazy and practically robbery. But the money arrives within seconds, so that’s good. Someone said it takes hours. Not true. The BOP on their end takes hours to actually process it.
