Review summary

Venue is a relaxing, visually rich interior-design game with broad decorating options and social features, but users repeatedly cite monetization issues: long ads, VIP gatekeeping, and a coin/gem economy that often requires paying to progress. The visuals and calming gameplay are praised, while memory usage and paid rewards further frustrate some players. Overall, enjoyable without paying, but advancing frequently hinges on spending.
Pros
  • Relaxing, calming gameplay that helps with anxiety
  • Beautiful, realistic graphics and design options
  • Extensive decorating and customization options; you can decorate rooms and choose items
  • Social features: view others' rooms, vote on them, and receive ratings
  • Progress can be made without paying upfront via coins and daily rewards (gems not strictly required)
Cons
  • Long, intrusive ads (including multi-minute commercials)
  • VIP subscription gating; expensive to access features or continue playing frequently
  • Unbalanced coin/diamond economy: design costs far exceed earnings, making progress feel pay-to-win
  • End-of-track rewards have become paid, with free bonuses removed
  • High memory usage on devices

2026-07-30 Th***** This a very fun and relaxing game. The only negatives I’ve found are from comparing it to other similar games such as Redecor. The positives- —There’s no ads unless you wish to earn more coins, but adds are not required for gameplay and you don’t have to watch a lot just to afford items. I also haven’t felt like I need to use real money just to be able the game, which I did with other games. —There is a small limit to designing rooms, only five for every two hours, but you don’t have to play puzzles or vote on other rooms to design rooms. There’s nothing required to design a room, you just spend your in game money. —Every time you buy something, it only has one use, but it’s not overly expensive. On other games I’d buy something to use for a room, but then have to use it in others rooms to get my money’s worth, but often I wouldn’t want to use it again. This game makes it more simpler since you can just buy what you need for each challenge instead of trying to build an inventory of things. —You get to design textures and the room itself as well as furniture. I’ve played games where you design the patterns and pick the wall color, but not the furniture. Then I’ve played games where the room is set but you pick the furniture. This game you get to do both which is really fun —It feels very peaceful compared to some other games. Every time I open Redecor I have to click out of so many different offers and events when I just want to play the game. This game isn’t constantly in your face telling you what to do or offering deals. The negatives- —It’s hard to view others designs, which I always liked to do for fun and inspiration. On Redecor you could see what place you made out of 12 places, and you could view each design. You can see the top designs for the day, but not how others did versus you directly. Some people may like this though, you just see how your score and there’s no need for comparison. —You can’t redesign rooms, which you can on other apps. —On this game there’s chapters with rooms you can design and then live events, but you get more coins from chapters, but you can only do one chapter at a time. So you’re free to design whatever event you want, but to have enough money sometimes you have to do chapters. —The last negative is that many of the items cost diamonds rather than coins, and while you pay with less diamonds than you would coins, diamonds are harder to get, so that can make your choices feel limited.

2026-07-30 Ba***** First of all I love it. Great game but after a day of playing it I ran out of money and it is so hard to get more without paying actual money. I think I only got one full day of playing it which was the first day I downloaded it. Now I only get to do one mission a day. On the plus side not any adds except for when you want to watch some for more coins.

2026-07-30 it***** I would absolutely love this game and recommend it to everyone - it’s super peaceful. I was hooked and at first I thought it would be my top favorite that I would play nonstop. HOWEVER the game essentially forces you to spend real money to acquire coins and gems which are needed to play. It’s very frustrating. I wish there were more ways to get coins - I will have to remove this app because there’s no sense having it if I can’t even play it from lack of coins and the fact that it’s so difficult and long to get them. Not everyone wants to spend real money to get game coins - especially in this economy.

2026-07-29 Mo***** I really like the game. I’ve only paid a couple of times but for the most part it’s enjoyable. But I have hit the $2500 on that wheel twice now and did not receive any reward but I get the 2nd spin reward from watching the ad. I do think the textiles and decor need to be upgraded. I feel like I’m repeating at this point. I’d pay but it’s too expensive

2026-07-28 I❤***** This is the most relaxing design game ever! It’s exactly like it is in the advertisement. And you don’t need to do any puzzles or buy stuff to design! It’s just perfect, I’m in love.❤️❤️

2026-07-28 Pl***** It's a fun experience at first but the disappointing thing is you run out of money on day 2 and then you can only design one room per day. Rewards are so low, even getting 5 stars on a design doesn't even make your money back - you can't actually play without paying - and paying is not worth it at all.

2026-07-26 Fl***** Overall pretty fun and relaxing. I wish the rating didn’t take so long, it takes like 2 hours to finish. You just have to keep making houses/rooms. But it’s a wonderful game!

2026-07-26 Ch***** This game is fun, but you’re required to pay if you want to keep playing. I wish there were more quick ways to earn coins and diamonds. It'll take days of collecting the daily coin gift before I can play again.
