Pros: solid hardware, easy setup, and installer-friendly deployment. Cons: automation failures, flaky connectivity, multi-device setup challenges, limited troubleshooting resources, and navigation gaps. Overall, the app works best with stable WiFi and few devices, but reliability and usability suffer with multiple transformers or frequent automation needs.

Pros

Hardware quality is good.
Easy to set up and intuitive user interface.
Handy for installers to set up client systems and transfer the app to clients.

Cons

Automation/scheduling issues: lights do not reliably turn on/off automatically as programmed.
Connectivity and WiFi handling is flaky: app forgets WiFi credentials, transformer not detected, and reconnection often requires manual refresh.
Difficult to add a second transformer or manage multiple devices.
Lack of help/resources/support when issues occur.
Missing back button and navigation improvements; switching between transformers is cumbersome.

Don’t update to the newest version as it makes everything I say below worse. While overall it’s fairly simple, the execution is terrible. Trying to program a zone to come on automatically is the most frustrating experience ever, and while you have three zones for some reason I could only have 1 timer, I created multiple but only 1 can be enabled… what’s the point of three zones? There is a cloud upload icon which appears to be a download button, huh? Alexa integration it’s useless as it doesn’t know if lights are in or off. Has an ok job with overall power but forget zone control. Typically it’s Alexa, turn on backyard …repeat it again. I love the idea, I wanted Alexa or google integration, but this it no good. Hardware, good App, bad (new version worse) Alexa integration, horrific

We are installing our landscape lighting using the IT Pro transformer. We had a very difficult time setting up the second transformer. I have many different lighting and Smart WiFi apps and I find this app to be terrible at adding a device, especially the second device. Upon setting up a new account, the icon just keeps on spinning — very frustrating!
