This innovative process utilizes smartphone reading and validation of electronic machine readable travel documents (ePassports or eIDs), combined with ability to remotely access the trusted biometrics for comparison with a live, current facial biometric. IDVaaS builds on Entrust’s 25+ years of digital identity expertise and 50+ years of security innovation. It provides an ability to remotely verify that the individual is who they say they are, based on an ICAO-compliant eMRTD and a trusted ISO quality biometric matched to the individual.
