User Reviews

Users praise 24Six for its rich Jewish music and video content and view it as a strong, family-friendly source. However, the app is repeatedly criticized for stability and playback issues: frequent freezes, crashes, and errors; queues not persisting in the background; playback stopping when the device sleeps; and poor shuffle/discovery. Car usage also suffers from manual restarts and interruptions. Some users note content gaps or removals. Overall, content quality stands out, but reliability and usability in real-world usage are major drawbacks.

Pros

Extensive Jewish/Kosher music catalog with frequent new releases
Video content adds value to the listening experience
Generally positive, family-friendly experience with good service
Regarded by many users as a strong option for Jewish music playback

Cons

Frequent reliability issues: freezes, crashes, and errors such as 'content could not be found'
Background/queue problems: leaving the app or device sleep causes the queue to be lost or playback to stop
Weak shuffle, discovery, and playlist handling: lack of true random play and frustrating discovery experience
Car integration problems: requires manual restart in cars and interruptions when using car head units
Content availability concerns: missing artists/limited roster and occasional content removals
