Users value the Bible-reading plans and the broad, well-organized Christ Church content in the app, including sermons and audio for commuting. However, reliability and navigation issues persist with plan progress and updates: progress can be erased, downloads can fail, and today’s plan can be hard to locate due to defaults (NIV) and starting at Genesis 1:1.

Pros

Bible reading plans help users stay consistent year after year.
Rich, well-organized access to Christ Church content (sermons, videos, PDFs, blogs) in one app.
Ability to listen to sermons and other content on the go (audio) for commuting.

Cons

Reading plan reliability issues (progress erased, plan downloads fail, and last position may not reopen).
Defaults to NIV (no easy switch) after updates, making it hard to use with preferred translation.
Starts at Genesis 1:1 and you must navigate to today's plan, which is not intuitive.

Thank you for the Bible reading plans each year! This is my 3rd or 4th year reading through and I’m so thankful for what I’ve learned through reading consistently. It would be great if within each day’s reading plan the chapters were labeled not just the verses. I find myself having to scroll to figure out what chapter I’m on. This would be handy for verse memorizing or if there’s a verse we want to share. Love and appreciate everything Christ Church is doing! Please know your messages are reaching far beyond the many walls of Christ Church.

When this app works it’s amazing. I’ve never been more consistent with Bible reading. But when I wake up and find that the listening plan just doesn’t work today, it’s so frustrating. Then I have to write down today’s verses and go open another app to stay on the reading plan. Today I opened it to find all my days reading progress erased! I love the idea of the Bible Reading Challenge, or whole church is doing it. I’ve never been very good at keeping up, but this app was really helping. Now I’m left t trying to find another app. This one is not dependable. And there’s no way of contacting you other than this review.
