Goolink is easy to install and works on LAN with multiple cameras and decent video quality, but users frequently cite intrusive ads, poor cellular/IPv6 remote support, update-related failures, and a lack of more simultaneous channels.

Pros

Easy to install and set up for camera viewing on iPhone.
Works well on local LAN/WiFi and supports remote viewing for many users.
Supports multiple cameras (including 4-channel setups) and has long-running stable use for some users.
HD video quality when supported.

Cons

Intrusive ads that appear on launch and during use, sometimes with sound, with no easy option to disable.
Remote viewing over cellular/LTE is unreliable due to IPv6 compatibility; often requires VPN workaround.
Updates can break functionality (login issues, video won’t display) on affected devices.
Channel limit of 4 streams at a time is restrictive; many users want 8 or more.

Recent reviews

This app does not work unless I am in the house and connected to the home’s WiFi. My iPhone has the newest update( iOS 16 or so). I needed an app to work with my older Zosi to check cameras when not home. This was the one that did it they said but it doesn’t work outside the home. This is useless. Any suggestions?

The app itself is adequate for viewing my cameras. However the ads that pop up before the app launches are just uncalled for. There are no way to bypass or stop the ad from playing. And that being said the worst thing is the ads that are accompanied with sound that cannot be turned off. Many times I need to open the app while in s location where sound from my phone is unacceptable and the ad just plays away sound and all. Give us a break and at least make the ads silent. Thanks

This app works fine on LAN (Wi-Fi) at a remote location, but will no longer work on WAN (Cellular data connection 4G LTE). The reason is that the carriers are using IPv6 now and the app is not setup to work with that. Until they make it compatible, its really worthless for remote viewing of your system on your iPhone unless you are at work or someplace with Wi-Fi available. Please add IPV6 support! Update: I learned that of you use a VPN to route your data then it will work on cellular LTE connection. Works very well. The ads are becoming more annoying especially the ones with sounds when you are trying to check the cameras while in a meeting or at church.
