Mission 119, whose name is derived from Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, and one devoted entirely to expounding on the role of Scripture and its value in the lives of God fearing people will provide a method and a means for people to:

Develop a habit of daily interaction with the Bible; 2) Learn a method by which to understand and study the Bible;
Begin to apply the principles and truths of Scripture to their own lives in a meaningful and life changing way and;
Evaluate the degree to which they have retained and understood their reading.

Regular daily readings of Scripture will be supplemented by a original daily audio commentary on the passages read and by additional readings and quizzes which will supplement and enhance the participants’ understanding.

This app has given me a better understanding of the Bible like never before (and I have read through the Bible more than once and have been studying it for over twenty years). Better than that, the “digging deeper” portion has helped me learn how to use various Bible tools that I have had at my disposal for years, but didn’t know how to use them properly. But, the best is the spiritual growth that comes from all of this understanding. It is hard not to change/grow spiritually once you understand. Thankful for this app.
