User Reviews

Reviews show a devoted, long-time community and ongoing content, but stability problems dominate sentiment. Players repeatedly cite freezes, crashes, loading issues, and login failures after updates, with QA and reliability concerns. Monetization is a major gripe, with reports of overpriced packs and pay-to-progress pressure. However, some players note positive aspects like alliance features, daily quests, and frequent events that keep the game engaging for free-to-play players. Overall, the app remains appealing to fans in theory, but often unplayable or unenjoyable due to technical and business-model problems.
Pros
  • Long-standing, loyal player base with active alliances and cooperative play.
  • Regular content updates, including new characters and events with alliance bonuses.
  • Free-to-play friendly options through daily quests and rewards (tokens for draws).
  • Positive sentiment from players who love the game and remain engaged despite issues.
Cons
  • Frequent freezes, crashes, and glitches across modes (story, versus, loading screens).
  • Post-update regressions and instability, including inability to load, stuck on Marvel screen, and login issues.
  • Perceived poor QA and reliability; updates often break features.
  • Monetization concerns: overpriced packs and predatory microtransactions that pressure spending.
  • Performance issues like battery drain and overheating on devices.
Recent reviews
With recent changes they have ruined the game. It was taking 20-30 minutes daily commitment to be competitive this is now well over two hours. Not only that but the matches just aren’t fun anymore they take too long and quite frankly are not interesting enough to warrant the time spent. Not only that but the game has introduced 6* characters but it’s almost impossible to acquire them without spending money. I have no problem buying things in a game when I know what I will get but so much of the purchases in this game are chances to get something and frankly I am not spending the hundreds of dollars required to get enough covers into the 6* characters to make them useful. Games should be fun, and MPQ has not been fun for a long time.

This game is amazing. I remember playing this game a long time ago, back in 2013. Which is actually the year it came out. I got it in December I believe. At the time there was still in its potential spot but like anything else, with time it becomes greater. So, I recently downloaded it again, probably January of 2026 and it’s changed so much; for the better! There are way more Marvel characters than I can keep up with. Of course you want to keep all the covers you get but unless you pay to get more space you’re forced to lose them or sell them for crystals. It’s ok because down the road you eventually run back into those covers you need for newer missions, etc. I’ve spent probably $100 alone because I chose to. It’s addictive, keeps you entertained, kills time, and the developers have really kept it authentic. In the words of Deadpool, “Your crazy matches my crazy.”
