User Reviews

VidSwap is praised for being easy to use, affordable, and mobile-friendly for on-the-road reviews. However, multiple reviews flag that it’s not as feature-rich or polished as Hudl, with a clunky UI, awkward controls, and playback issues (notably slow-motion). Some mention bugs and slow updates. Overall, it can cover basic needs at a lower cost, but teams seeking Hudl-level features and polish may prefer Hudl until VidSwap closes the gap.
Pros
  • Easy to use and quick to learn
  • Lower cost compared to Hudl (cost savings)
  • Mobile-friendly with easy setup (iPad/app, on-the-road use)
  • Generally reliable and straightforward to operate
Cons
  • Inferior to Hudl in features and overall experience (less polished, fewer capabilities)
  • Poor UI/UX design and clunky controls (not intuitive, difficult to navigate)
  • Playback/viewing issues (difficulties with slow-motion and video review, occasional bugs)

Hudl is much better and more efficient

Been using HUDL and honestly, it would still work fine for what I need. The primary reason I’m switching is to take advantage of the Club benefits of VidSwap and the Pixellot camera which is going to save us a lot of money capturing games.

Hudl was never reliable. Vidswap has been fantastic and simple to learn.
