User Reviews

Reviewers repeatedly praise Lucidchart’s diagramming strengths and on-the-go value, but barriering the mobile app behind enterprise plans, paywalled features like revision history, and frequent iOS instability drive widespread frustration among individual users. Login problems and price/value concerns compound the negative sentiment, with many lamenting that the app is effectively unusable for non-enterprise subscribers.
Pros
  • Powerful diagramming and charting capabilities that users rely on.
  • Mobile access to documents on the go was a valued feature historically.
  • General usefulness for business operations and creating clear charts.
Cons
  • App is locked behind Team/Enterprise plans; individual subscribers cannot use the mobile app.
  • Essential features and recovery tools (e.g., Revision History) are paywalled or require upgrading.
  • iOS app instability and reliability issues (white/blank screens, crashes, sign-in problems).
  • Sign-in/login issues and account restrictions that block access (e.g., government accounts, failed sign-ins).
  • Pricing frustration for individuals who cannot access the app despite paying for a subscription.
Recent reviews
The decision to make the app exclusive to Team and Enterprise users is boneheaded and greedy. I used to use this app on the go often and it was nice to be able to access my projects when not at my computer and not have to navigate it on my mobile browser. Now any of us on individual plans are screwed. Thanks Lucidchart.

Why should I pay for a product only to not be able to use the app version because of their greed in only allowing enterprise users access to it. Ditching this app and my subscription

It’s really frustrating that the app version is not available for educational users. Seems pointlessly locked.
