User Reviews

Encircle is praised as an easy-to-use, feature-rich tool that keeps restoration teams organized with strong documentation, reports, and collaboration. Users highlight solid support and good value. However, recurring issues center on stability and performance—photo-upload crashes and white screens—along with update-driven UI regressions that complicate workflows. Some feature requests (note reorganization, cross-job photo moves) remain missing and are repeatedly wished for. Overall, it’s highly valued, but reliability and feature gaps introduced by updates are the main drawbacks.
Pros
  • Easy to use and intuitive navigation for field techs.
  • Comprehensive documentation and organization for restoration jobs (photos, notes, equipment, hydro data) with professional client reports.
  • Strong collaboration across teams and easy sharing of information.
  • Excellent customer support and responsiveness to feedback.
  • High value and often free or cost-effective.
Cons
  • Stability issues and crashes, especially when uploading photos, plus occasional white screens and unresponsive states after updates.
  • Update-induced UI/UX regressions that make common tasks more cumbersome (new UI, added steps, broken flows).
  • Missing or wishlist features that limit workflow, such as note reorganization and moving photos between jobs, which users repeatedly request.

We have used Encircle for about 4 years now. They keep adding great features needed by restorers. They are also open to suggestions and will do what they can to add features.

The newest update and how you do box number is inconvenient. Change it back

Please listen to your users because clearly you do not use your own app out in the field. The app was finally working a week ago. Then you updated and completely changed the UI in the app and added multiple steps just to add a reading. Now I can’t add equipment that was working a week ago either. The app was fine and now it’s not. Change it back
