User Reviews

Users praise the app for being easy to use, visually clear, and helpful in real emergencies and exam prep. However, recurring issues include outdated or inaccurate content (guidelines and dosing), content errors in algorithms, and frequent technical problems (glitches, crashes, slow loading). Some users also note limited dosing information for drugs and mixed expectations about its purpose. Overall, it is valued as a quick-reference tool, but reliability and up-to-date accuracy are inconsistent across reviews.
Pros
  • Easy to use with simple, clear navigation.
  • Very helpful in emergencies and for exam prep (improves timing and confidence).
  • Modern design with clear visuals and updated BLS algorithms.
  • Good value; money well spent.
  • Useful for practice and quick reference during patient care.
Cons
  • Content can be outdated or not up-to-date with ACLS/PALS guidelines (and dosing).
  • Content inaccuracies and algorithm/decision-tree errors.
  • Technical glitches and instability (MegaCodes issues, pages crash/load problems).
  • Missing drug dosing information for ACLS/PALS medications.
Recent reviews
It is incredulous to me that a reference app for in-the-moment resuscitation guidance of clinicians would lack dosages of all of the ACLS and PALS drugs. There is so much white space in the algorithms and it could be added with updated information for free. Also. The default when the app is opened should be the algorithm, NOT a practice test. Seconds count.

In the Mega codes, I’ll answer the first question by clicking the answer and then try to press continue and it won’t do anything. I’ve tried waiting after I press and it still doesn’t work. It’s happened in multiple mega codes and I’ve tried exiting the app and coming back in.
