User Reviews

Players praise the game’s fun, nostalgic core and its longevity, but repeatedly cite UI/visual scaling and cropping issues on modern iPhones, broken store/navigation, and a lack of updates from developers. The title feels abandoned to some, with compatibility problems on newer devices. If updated and modernized, it could regain broad appeal; as-is, it remains a beloved classic hampered by technical neglect.
Pros
  • Fun, engaging core gameplay when it works
  • Strong nostalgic appeal that keeps long-time players coming back
  • Still available on the App Store and not delisted, preserving access
  • Positive sentiment from longtime fans and overall enjoyment when performance is stable
Cons
  • UI and display problems on modern devices (zoomed-out framing, cropping, aspect ratio issues)
  • In-game store/navigation broken (back button not working, difficult to purchase, menus overlap)
  • Perceived abandonment by developers with little to no updates for years
  • Compatibility issues with newer iPhones (port/update lag, some devices rendering poorly)

I played this game years ago and still remember it, pleased to find it again. It is a 5 star game easy but I rate 1 star because the UI is really hard to read with modern phones resolutions and some parts of the game like the store (not in app purchases but in game items which are necessary) are on the verge of breaking as there is no buy button at all you just have to tap the lower half of the screen over and over until you hit where I’m guessing the buy button is supposed to render but it doesn’t. If this game gets patched for modern phones I’ll give it 5 stars. As it is it seems it might break tomorrow and be unusable. It also doesn’t fit in modern phone screen ratios but has black bars at the top and bottom. If that doesn’t get patched but the UI does, I’ll still rate 5 stars though.

Don’t Buy!!! (4/21/26) Game is extra zoomed out and no plan to be fixed. Stopped updating 8yrs ago. Ui doesn’t work as intended bc of the aspect ratio.
