PlantNet lets you identify a plant from a photo. It’s handy when you don’t have a botanist nearby and contributes to a global citizen science project that helps scientists study plant biodiversity.

With features to improve accuracy, it supports many plant types—from wild flora to cultivated species—and you can share observations for review and inclusion in the growing image gallery. The extension offers tools like genus and family filtering, re-identification of shared observations, multi-flora search, favorites, image galleries, and a map of your observations.
