Cons

Content and notes are locked behind a pricey subscription, with tasting notes and pro reviews not accessible without paying.
Search and filtering feel limited or broken; cannot filter by sweetness/dryness and some searches fail to return relevant results.
Recent updates have caused UX regressions or feature removals, such as ratings being harder to access or CT integration breaking.
Occasional reliability issues with the app not showing shops or ratings, and general bugs or performance problems.
Some features and results appear gated to paid partners and there can be an in-state vs out-of-state bias without a subscription

Recent reviews

It’s rare that an update actually makes an app LESS useful. It’s even stranger when the developer goes out of their way to remove a feature instead of just leaving well enough alone. The latest update reduces the ability to set a search radius - used to be you could choose 5, 10, 20, whatever miles - and instead only allows two options, in state only or “near me” which sets a hard radius of 50 miles. 50 miles is useless to people who live in major metropolitan areas - say, NYC, a huge market for wine searcher - when the city is about 10 miles wide and the vast majority aren’t driving. Same for Chicago, San Fran, wherever. Anyway, it makes the app somewhat useless for me so I’ll be cancelling my subscription until the search radius is settable again.
