This app serves ads based on location but stops viewing of certain content based on location . It serves the ad then tells you you can’t see the video . Attention theft , basically . Even as a paid subscriber to the BBC app , you get ‘content not available’ rather too often . Given that the organization is funded by the UK govt , it’s a bit of a cheap play .
